Rete Semi rurali
The Semi Rural Network was established in November 2007 to remind everyone that agricultural biodiversity must be preserved, enhanced and developed in the country and around the world by farmers, first of all.
Established by the Rural Italian (ARI), the Association for Solidarity of the Italian Campaign (ASCI), Archaeology Arborea, the Italian Association for Organic Agriculture (AIAB), Rural Life, the Consortium of Quarantine, the Coordination Toscano Organic Producers (CTPB) and the International Centre Crossroads (CIC). The Association is non-profit and is headquartered in Scandicci (FI) in the process of Casignano 25.
The Network and the 28 associations that come with it, such as by-laws, supports, facilitates, promotes contact, dialogue, exchange and sharing of information and initiatives, including those who affirm the values of biodiversity and peasant agriculture and oppose what generates erosion and loss of diversity in agriculture and mining based on intensive monoculture and / or genetically modified crops.
