The creation in 1996 of this association is due to the energy and creativity of Rosa Maria Bertino, Achilles Mingozzi and Gino Girolomoni publishers and promoters of organic farming, in order to put at the service of sound agricultural development and a focus for dissemination in Moreover, in order to communicate the different souls of the organic movement.
In the early years, the planning effort leads them to draw up ten projects to save the Italian countryside. The actions you specify and organize themselves in the present, taking a cue from the first draft and pointing out the loss of biodiversity and cultural culture present in the Italian countryside. After the seed savers and school gardens is the time of the project related to the recovery of the ancient Ancona breed of chicken, the start of construction of the historic orchard, Portal Development Rural Biodiversity and Local Food Map, courses, conferences, the seed Bank, the printing of the manual to save the seeds.
Since 2009, it promotes the creation of local groups, formed by groupings of members of the same area working together in the activities of the association as the preservation of seeds or search for old varieties.
